THE FOREST HAVEN

The project of a cottage complex in the Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia, is harmoniously integrated into the natural environment, taking into account the unique features of the landscape and the high tourist demand for this region. The key ideas of the concept are aimed at preserving the natural environment, ensuring comfort for vacationers and providing space for active and relaxing recreation. The exterior visualization is aimed at recreating the harmonious integration of the cottages into the natural environment. The location on the slope, thoughtful orientation and materials enhance the feeling of unity with nature. The design of the cottages reflects a modern approach to minimalism with elements of ecological style. The main emphasis is placed on natural materials and warm shades of wood, which add to the atmosphere of comfort and harmony with the environment.​​​​​​​ The wooden walls and ceiling flow smoothly into each other, creating a unity of space. Thanks to this architectural solution, the space feels holistic and open. Horizontal wooden slats emphasize the architectural lines, adding depth to the room and structuring the space.
